Changing PPPoE Credentials

When you change a client’s PPPoE credentials:

  1. The change is saved in Zettabit immediately
  2. If the client has an active subscription, the new credentials are synced to the MikroTik router
  3. The client will need to update their router settings with the new credentials

Important Considerations

  • Coordinate with the client before changing credentials
  • The client will be disconnected until they update their router
  • Consider scheduling changes during off-peak hours

Moving a Client to a Different Server

If you need to move a client to a different MikroTik router:

  1. Edit the client and select the new server
  2. Save the changes
  3. If the client has an active subscription, it will be recreated on the new server
  4. The client may experience a brief disconnection

When to Move Clients

  • Load balancing across servers
  • Server maintenance or replacement
  • Client relocated to different coverage area
